Finale !?

Was this really the last day of the season for me? If so, what a day. It was sooo warm, and not a cloud in sight.Day 39 was spent at Merry Jane w/ the Shust, bangin' brownish slush bumps till my legs were semi-gelatinous. It may not be over yet though, the Basin is still open and I may very well pay a visit...Check back soon, SkiWulf

Oh Sunny Day...

Beautiful.Sunny.Warm. I got fried today. The snow was now slush, fun to slosh through, a real leg burner too. Gerrit the Red was today replaced by his bizzaro opposite, "Gerry the Blue".We waited at the bottom for half an hour for that lousy S.O.B. Bobby to meet us but he just straight dusted us. But we picked up the pieces and skied on...like men. G.B.A.

REDEMPTION!!!

Muy Excellente !! Bond... Bob Bond called and rousted me out of the house and up to COPPER. Following my last few excursions I was'nt crazy about going. However, I could NOT let the ski season end, as it ended on Wednesday... THANK JEEBUS I went! 8-10" of fresh spring snow awaited our ritual tardiness, it rocked hard. Still some silly people lingering about though , like what was either an off-duty elf or even a gremlin lurking only one chair behind us ... scary stuff, we escaped to the Enchanted Forest (for real.) then S-chair, Western Union, and a short lungbuster hike to chill atop Union Peak, closing with the always classy I-Dropper. Thank you... I'm outta here! Ski Lobo

Deja...BOOOOO!!!!

AGAIN!... No sooner did me and "Salty Bob" pull up to Copper, than did the weather turn to CRAP!(5th time straight) Today was IT for the season if this shee-ight keeps up.Our second and final run featured a lovely mix of rain/freezing-rain/sleet/& snow, so with no mail to deliver,..we split, but not before Bobby gave a surly explanation of the "Please Alternate" sign to some oblivious howlers in the lift line. There's still alot of clowns skiin' n' rid'n 'round, "endless spring break I guess." Most locals are over it, and like me wish for just a little sunshine & solitude before the fat lady sings. Me outtie 2006.SW
