Reverse Midas Touch

The sun was bright, streams careened through the parking lot, ahh spring skiing... not, no sooner did I load onto my first chair of the day at the Jane than did the blue skies get munched by an afternoon squall from the Fraser Valley. It turned slushy bumps with good visibility, into giant icy death mounds with snow snakes grabbing at my skis from the brownish troughs, I toughed it out for a bit, then I booked, the weather appropriately turned nice soon after. oh woe.
